Dear Pastors and Royal Ranger Commanders,
Once a year we ask outposts to charter with the district of Kansas as a means of raising funds for the ministry of Reaching, Teaching, and Keeping boys for Christ. No state Ranger official receives any funding from Royal Ranger chartering. All revenue generated goes into furtherance of the gospel of Christ. Plus, the Commanders and boys get to be a part of the larger effort in reaching others.
Each chartered member will receive the Adventures in Camping magazine, a Ranger identification card, plus materials to promote the outpost and its activities. Since this is a primary way for the Royal Ranger district to minister on a state level to the thousands of boys who need to be reached, I urge you to be a part of the chartering process (if you are not already) and catch the vision of Reaching, Teaching, and Keeping boys for Christ.
A chartering form is included and our chartering year runs from Aug-Sep of each year to the following Aug-Sep. Those outposts chartered within our time frame will assist the district further since the national office will rebate a small portion to the district for outposts chartering on time.
