In the 1700-1800's it was an honor for frontiersmen to belong to a trapping company. Belonging to these special groups revealed the uniqueness of the mountain man and his association to the Trapping Company. The Hawken Rifle Chapter is divided into four Trapping Companies across the state. It is our desire that the trappers of these companies build personal relationships, prayer partners, and friends for a lifetime.
