I never really had a chance to not be involved in Royal Rangers. My best friend in college was a GMA recipient, my wife (married for over 18 years) came from a family where her dad had been involved since the '60s and her brother was a GMA recipient, also. I have 3 fabulous sons (ages 16, 11 and 8) and my father-in-law said "We need help, you're it." So I got dragged kicking and screaming into Rangers. Now, that's the way I'm going out. Now I'm the Sr. Commander for our outpost, and serving on District Staff. I feel sorry for my daughter's future husband. Don't have to worry about that, yet, she's only 3.
